Bummer! Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ Mass Production Pushed to January

Will Samsung delay the Galaxy S26 launch? To be honest, it seems possible. But by how much? That is the real question. One report suggested a March launch timeline, while another tipster claimed it has been delayed, without specifying for how long. That said, we think the Galaxy S26 series could still launch in February, as March feels like a stretch.
Mass production of Galaxy S26 base variants may begin a month later than planned
A new report from The Elec claims that Samsung plans to begin mass production of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ in January 2026. The mass production of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is reportedly set to start in December, which means only the base models are delayed. The report also mentions that Samsung had initially planned to begin mass production of all three models in December, but you probably what may have caused that.

In case you missed it, Samsung appears to have dropped the Galaxy S26 Edge from the upcoming lineup. Instead, the company is bringing back the Galaxy S26+, which was originally expected to be discontinued. Since then, the Galaxy S26+ has appeared in the IMEI database, and additional leaks have confirmed that it is indeed coming.
We may see the Galaxy Unpacked in February
The publication also notes that mass production will likely take one or two months to complete. Optimistically, this could mean a launch in February, which could occur at any time during the month. However, there is a possibility that the launch could be pushed to March, which would align with a previous report.
Repeated rumors suggest that the base variants could be powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, on the other hand, may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. There is also a chance that the Exynos 2600 could be used across the entire lineup, and we should know more in the coming weeks.
