Breaking! One UI 8 Stable Available for Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6

Samsung is moving faster than expected! It has just released the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. Currently rolling out in South Korea for beta participants, the update should soon be available for regular users worldwide.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 make the jump to stable One UI 8
Korean Galaxy Z Fold 6 users are getting the stable One UI 8 build with firmware version F956NKSU2CYI7. The same update for the Flip 6 carries the build number F741NKSU2CYI6. Of course, units enrolled in the beta program will receive a small patch that upgrades them to the official version. Those upgrading from One UI 7 can expect a huge update, potentially weighing about 4GB.
With One UI 8, Samsung has put significant focus on simplification and usability, making everyday interactions with the system feel more seamless. Alongside performance and stability improvements, it brings several new AI features. Best Face, an AI-powered camera tool, lets users fix group photos by swapping out faces from multiple shots, ensuring everyone looks their best.
Likewise, the Wallpaper and Style section now recommends images from your Gallery that could look great as lock screen backgrounds. Adaptive clock style, meanwhile, automatically adjusts the lock screen clock’s font style based on the chosen wallpaper, giving a unique, dynamic look to the screen. These are just a few UI improvements in Samsung’s Android 16-based update for Galaxy devices.
While the update is initially limited to beta testers in Korea, non-beta Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 users will receive the stable One UI 8 update soon. Owners can manually check for it by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Other eligible devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Fold 5, and Flip 5, should also receive One UI 8 in the coming days. We will keep you posted.
