Breaking! One UI 8 Now Available for Galaxy Tab S10 Series

Samsung’s One UI 8 stable update is now live for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. These are the first tablets to receive the Android 16 update, with more in the pipeline. Samsung has already rolled out One UI 8 for a bunch of flagship and mid-range smartphones.

Galaxy Tab S10 starts receiving Samsung’s One UI 8 update

Over the past couple of weeks, Samsung has rolled out One UI 8 updates for the Galaxy S25, S24, and S23 flagships, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Fold 5, Flip 6, Flip 5, Galaxy A56, and Galaxy A36 in several parts of the world. The Galaxy Tab S10 series now marks the rollout for Samsung tablets.

As of this writing, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra are picking up One UI 8 in Korea with the firmware build number CYI5. The OTA package weighs around 3.5GB and also bundles the September 2025 security patch. Samsung should soon roll out the update in other markets. Users can manually check for new software releases for their Galaxy devices from Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Based on Android 16, this update brings new and improved Galaxy AI features, interface refinements, UI upgrades, new camera tools, enhanced customizations, and more. Samsung tested the changes internally and publicly through beta programs for several devices before kicking off the stable rollout earlier this month.

Samsung will push One UI 8 to other eligible devices in the coming days, while simultaneously expanding the reach to global markets. The company expects to complete the rollout by the end of November. It will follow up with the One UI 8.5 update in January, introducing the new version with the Galaxy S26 series. The upcoming update may not be widely available for mid-rangers, but most flagships should get it. Stay tuned for more.
