After an official confirmation last week, Samsung has now rolled out One UI 8 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S25 series. The latest update is available widely across supported markets, including India, South Korea, and European countries. It brings a bunch of bug fixes as we move closer to the stable release.

Galaxy S25 finally gets One UI 8 Beta 4

It’s been a month since Samsung released the third One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Many expected the company to now push the stable version, but it made a surprise announcement about Beta 4 last week. Now, the fourth beta build is available to registered users. The new release carries the build version ZYGB and weighs around 1.3GB, depending on the model and region.

The latest release addresses a bunch of known issues, including bugs in AI-generated reply suggestions, Bixby routine commands, the Gallery app, outgoing calls, the Camera app, and more. One UI 8 Beta 4 also brings enhancements to Samsung DeX. You can now switch to the full-screen view when playing videos using DeX.

While Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed anything, this is widely expected to be the final beta release. The next update could be the stable version, with a rollout possibly beginning sometime in August. Many expected the stable build to drop in early August, but that no longer looks probable. Hopefully, Samsung won’t keep One UI 8 in beta for much longer.

Note that the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE already ship with One UI 8 out of the box. But for existing devices, Samsung is still testing the Android 16-based software. If the stale rollout begins for the Galaxy S25 series in August, we could expect other eligible models to get it in the following months. It remains to be seen if Samsung completes One UI 8 rollout before the end of 2025. It may introduce One UI 8.5 in early 2026 with the launch of the Galaxy S26 series.
