A broader rollout for other eligible devices will continue later this month, including several devices currently in the queue.

One UI 7 is rolling out to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the US

The stable One UI 7 update is arriving with firmware build version BYCJ for the Galaxy Z Flip 6. For beta users, the download For beta users, the download weighs around 500MB, while those moving up from One UI 6.1 can expect a much larger OTA package — around 5GB or more. It’s a heavy one, but for good reason. Needless to say, One UI 7 is one of the most feature-packed software update in a recent memory. It also packs in the April 2025 security patch.

One UI 7 brings a ton of new features and visual changes to Samsung’s current hottest clamshell foldable. Built on Android 15, the update introduces smoother animations, better customization tools, new lock screen widgets, and a redesigned Quick Panel. The stable One UI 7 was initially rolled out to Korean users and has since expanded the release to Europe and the US. Now, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 joins the list. Availability might vary slightly based on carrier and region, but the update should reach all unlocked and carrier-locked units in the coming days.

To see if it’s live for you, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung says more Galaxy devices will receive the update later this month, with the full rollout wrapping up sometime before June.
