Galaxy S24 users, here’s the good news you’ve been waiting for. Samsung has released the stable One UI 7 update for your phone. The big Android update should soon reach the 2024 flagships globally and expand to other eligible models.
Samsung rolls out the stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series
One UI 7 is Samsung’s Android 15 update for Galaxy devices. The company started beta testing the big update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in early December. The Galaxy S25 series arrived in January running the new version, but the 2024 flagships remained on the beta build. Over the past four months, Samsung has rolled out six beta builds for the phones. The stable One UI 7 build is now rolling out to the Galaxy S24 trio.
As of this writing, the big update is available in South Korea. It comes with the firmware build number BYCG for users enrolled in the beta program. The update bundles the April security patch, but it is primarily about a visual overhaul, new AI features, camera upgrades, and other functional enhancements.
Samsung has already announced that the One UI 7 will be available globally for the 2024 flagship lineup over the next week. The rollout begins in the US on April 10. If you are using a Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra, watch out for this update. You can manually check for it by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
