AT&T Fails Galaxy Users: No One UI 7 Update Even After Two Weeks

by | Apr 25, 2025 | News, One UI

While Samsung’s One UI 7 update has rolled out to several Galaxy devices across the globe, AT&T customers in the US are still left in the dark. It’s been over two weeks since the stable update began rolling out stateside for devices like the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, and Flip 6. During this time, Samsung has updated almost all unlocked units as well as carrier-locked units on other networks. But carrier-locked units on AT&T remain stuck on older firmware with no sign of the new update.

The silence is frustrating enough. But what’s worse is the mixed messages from AT&T support. Users across social media and forums report being repeatedly told the update would arrive in “two days,” “three days,” or even “within 24 hours.” Those timeframes have come and gone, with no update and no clear answers.

This lack of transparency is becoming a recurring issue with AT&T’s software update process. While other major US carriers like Verizon and T-Mobile have already pushed the One UI 7 update to their locked Galaxy devices, AT&T continues to lag behind, with no official communication or timeline provided to customers.

One UI 7 has already seen enough delays, and AT&T is making it worse

One UI 7 is Samsung’s Android 15 update for Galaxy devices. Ideally, it should have arrived before the end of 2024, but the company delayed it until April 2025. The rollout finally began earlier this month. Alongside the aforementioned models, it is also available for the Galaxy Z Fold SE, Fold 5, Flip 5, Galaxy S23, S24 FE, Tab S10, and Tab S9 series in various markets.

This update brings several meaningful improvements, including better performance, enhanced AI features, and updated visuals. Unfortunately, AT&T users in the US are having to deal with an extended delay, with no realistic ETA. It’s time for AT&T to step up, be honest with its users, and offer a clear explanation. We’ll let you know when we have more information.
