Samsung has a bunch of new products lined up for launch in the second half of the year, including foldables, tablets, wearables, and even its first pair of smart glasses. Recent leaks have now revealed the battery capacities for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Tab S12+, Galaxy Glasses, and Galaxy Watch 9. This follows an earlier leak confirming an unchanged battery for the Galaxy Z Flip 8.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 could get its biggest battery yet

According to a report from GalaxyClub, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 could feature a 5,000mAh battery. If accurate, this would make it the largest battery ever used in the Fold lineup, a whopping 600mAh jump from the Fold 7’s 4,400mAh unit. There is still no confirmation about charging speeds, though. Previous Folds have been limited to 25W charging, but Samsung could upgrade to 45W or faster charging this year.

Battery information for the Galaxy Tab S12+ has also surfaced. The tablet reportedly uses battery models EB-BX846AAE and EB-BX846AAY, both with a rated capacity of 10,392mAh, which could be marketed as a typical capacity of 10,600mAh. The Galaxy Tab S10+ has a 10,090mAh battery (Samsung didn’t launch a Tab S11+).

The 44mm Galaxy Watch 9 (model SM-L355) may also get a battery boost. According to SamMobile, its battery has a rated capacity of 435mAh, which could mean a 450mAh unit. Last year, Samsung shipped the 44mm Watch 8 with a 435mAh cell. The Galaxy Watch 9 should also come in a 40mm variant, accompanied by the Watch Ultra 2 (47mm).

Last but not least, the latest leaks reveal that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Glasses could be powered by a 245mAh battery. The device itself carries the model identifier EB-O200. These glasses should run Android XR and integrate Gemini for AI-powered features. A Samsung executive recently confirmed that the glasses will include an eye-level camera.

All of these devices are expected in the second half of the year. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Watch 9 should debut in July or August, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ may come in September or October. Expect more leaks in the coming months.
