Galaxy S26 Ultra Doesn’t Need a 5A Cable for 60W Charging

Are you planning to buy a 5A cable for the Galaxy S26 Ultra? You don’t need to. Samsung’s latest flagship can reach its maximum 60W wired charging speed using the 3A cable that comes in the box. Of course, you’ll need to buy a 60W adapter, but you can get one for free through our Mystery Box program.
In-box 3A cable can charge the Galaxy S26 Ultra at full speed
While the Galaxy S26 Ultra uses the same 5,000mAh battery as its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it supports significantly faster charging. The company has upgraded wired charging from 45W to 60W, letting the phone reach full power more quickly. Thanks to the 20V/3A charging profile, the in-box 3A cable can deliver the full 60W without requiring a 5A cable. This means you can enjoy maximum charging speed out of the box.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra supports Super Fast Charging 3.0 to offer blazing speeds while protecting battery health. The company claims that the phone can charge up to 75% in around 30 minutes, which is quite impressive. Speaking of Wireless charging, the Galaxy S26 Ultra supports up to 25W, up from 15W on the S25 Ultra. The bad news is that it lacks built-in Qi2 magnets, so you will need a magnetic case to enable wireless charging.
As usual, Samsung does not ship the 60W charging brick with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, there’s a way to get one without paying extra. Through our Mystery Box program (US buyers only), you can score a free 65W charger along with other accessories, including a protective case, screen protector, cleaning kit, and more. You just need to place your pre-order through our link (which redirects to the official web store) and fill out the verification form. Note that the pre-order program will end in just a few hours, so act fast.
