Galaxy A27 Spotted Running Internal One UI 8.5 Test Build

With the Galaxy S26 series now official, Samsung is focusing on introducing the upcoming Galaxy A series phones. Alongside the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57, Samsung will also launch the Galaxy A27, which has now entered One UI 8.5 testing.

As spotted by Alfatürk on X, Samsung has now started testing One UI 8.5 builds internally for the Galaxy A27. This step usually happens when a device is about to launch and is one of the first steps before release. The latest build version in question is A276BXXU0AZC2.

There’s still little to know about the phone itself. The first reports of its existence emerged in November 2025, and things have been pretty quiet ever since. But last month, another leaker, Erencan Yilmaz, confirmed that the Galaxy A27 is coming, and going by the model numbers, it will arrive in the US as well.

If anything, it will sit between the Galaxy A17 and the Galaxy A37, and you can already make a rough guess about its pricing and specs. Still, we’ll have to wait and see what Samsung plans to include with the Galaxy A27, which could very well be one of its budget 5G offerings in the US and other markets.
