Samsung Starts February 2026 Update Rollout for Galaxy Watch 6 Lineup

Samsung is rolling out a fresh software update for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. The update brings the February 2026 security patch, which addresses a bunch of vulnerabilities. As usual, the rollout begins in South Korea, but it should expand to more regions in the coming days.
Galaxy Watch 6 also gets Samsung’s February 2026 security update
It’s been a busy week at Samsung’s software update department. The company has pushed new updates for dozens of smartphones, tablets, and watches. The Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 7 models have already received the February 2026 patch, and the Galaxy Watch 6 is now joining the party. Last month’s security release is available for both the base model and the Watch 6 Classic.
Users in Korea get the update with firmware version CZB6. The OTA (over the air) file weighs 288MB for the Watch 6 Classic Bluetooth, though the exact size may vary depending on the model, size, connectivity variant, and region. Alongside new security fixes, Samsung is pushing some software optimizations for improved system stability and reliability.
Additionally, this update appears to introduce Samsung’s redesigned update screen, which debuted with One UI 8.5, to the Galaxy Watch 6 duo. The refreshed interface appears when installing the latest firmware through the Galaxy Wearable app. To check for updates, go to Watch settings > Watch software update, and select Download and install. You can also check for updates directly from the Settings app on your watch.
The Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic are receiving no other changes with their latest update. Samsung isn’t expected to push new features to its watches until the second half of the year, when it may launch the Galaxy Watch 9 series. Nonetheless, as the rollout progresses beyond South Korea, Galaxy Watch 6 owners in other regions should start seeing the February 2026 update arrive over the next few days.
