The February 2026 security patch rollout has been a bit slow, and many devices are still waiting in line to receive the latest update. But Samsung isn’t leaving its 2024 flagships behind. The Galaxy S24 series is now receiving the February 2026 security update but not everywhere.

Galaxy S24 series receives February 2026 security update

Samsung has started rolling out the February 2026 security update to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. As with most security updates, it’s currently only available in its home market of Korea, and other regions should receive it in the coming days.

The build version is S91*NKSS7EZB2, and the update size is around 441.78MB (h/t Tarun Vats). For those who are curious, it’s still based on One UI 8. The next major update, One UI 8.5, hasn’t started rolling out yet. Even when it does, it won’t immediately be available for the Galaxy S24 series.

The February 2026 security update includes patches for more than 37 vulnerabilities discovered in Android. It fixes 25 high-severity Android vulnerabilities and 12 Samsung-specific SVEs. Google’s fixes target the core Android system, while Samsung’s apply only to Galaxy firmware. As always, you should keep your device updated with the latest security patch.

If you live in Korea and own any Galaxy S24 model, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update has downloaded, tap Install now. The installation will take a few minutes, and your phone will restart once it’s running the latest security patch.
