Samsung Rolls Out February Update to Galaxy S25 Lineup Widely

After unveiling the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is wasting no time turning its attention back to existing users. Within hours of the launch event, the company began pushing fresh updates to the Galaxy S25 lineup. Beta participants received One UI 8.5 Beta 6, while users on One UI 8 stable started picking up the February 2026 security patch.
Galaxy S25’s February security update is rolling out widely
A few days ago, Samsung released this month’s security patch for the Galaxy S25 lineup in Korea. This update is now showing up for users in more regions, including other parts of Asia and Europe. The Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge are picking up the February 2026 update with the firmware build version BZB5. It’s AZB6 for the Galaxy S25 FE. As usual, the exact build may vary by device and region.
If you own any of these devices, you can check for the update by navigating to: Settings > Software update > Download and install. The rollout appears to be staggered, so availability may differ depending on your region and carrier. This may very well be the final One UI 8-based update for the Galaxy S25 lineup. The next release could bring One UI 8.5.
Of course, we do not have confirmation yet, but the Galaxy S26 series is all set to hit stores on March 11, with One UI 8.5 pre-installed. Samsung may start a stable rollout for Galaxy S25 models in the second half of March. The latest beta build pushes the software closer to the stable version with a bunch of bug fixes.
For now, the February 2026 update for the Galaxy S25 lineup focuses on system security improvements and stability enhancements. More eligible Galaxy smartphones are expected to join the rollout list soon, as Samsung continues expanding availability worldwide.
