Surprise! Samsung Offers Unexpected $50 Credit to Galaxy Fans

It looks like Samsung is treating its fans to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy Buds 4 series. The company has reportedly added a $50 credit to some users’ Samsung accounts. This credit comes with no strings attached, allowing you score accessories like chargers or SmartTags for free.

Some Galaxy users can score free accessories thanks to the $50 credit

Samsung may not have impressed fans with its pre-order credit in the reservation program. The company offered a $30 credit for registering interest in the Galaxy S26 lineup before launch. However, that offer was limited to pre-order purchases. Thankfully, the newly added $50 credit is a more flexible reward, letting you redeem it without buying a new smartphone.

According to user reports on Reddit (via Android Authority), the $50 bonus credit has landed automatically in select Samsung accounts in the US. More importantly, they did not pre-order any Galaxy device or even express interest in the new lineup, yet the company added credit to their accounts.

While it’s unclear the reason behind the giveaway, some expect that those who signed up for Unpacked event emails are eligible for the credit. However, Samsung has not officially shared the eligibility criteria, suggesting a surprise perk for select Galaxy fans. Moreover, the giveaway appears to be for the US only. Fans in other regions, such as Canada, say they are not receiving the credit.

Those who received the credit are already redeeming it for a range of accessories. For example, Samsung’s 45W fast charger costs a $49.99, nearly the same as the credit value. Others are using the bonus to purchase Galaxy SmartTags for free. So, you should try adding an accessory to the cart to see if the giveaway has reached your account.

Meanwhile, Samsung has begun pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series in most markets, including the US.
