New Leak Details Four Key Galaxy S26 Ultra Design Changes
As the official launch edges closer, finer details about Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra are beginning to surface. A reliable industry insider recently shed light on several subtle design changes coming to the new Ultra model. The Korean firm isn’t reinventing the wheel this year, but it is carefully refining it.
Samsung aims for consistency with softer, more rounded corners on Galaxy S26 Ultra
Samsung is continuing its slow retreat from the sharp, boxy look that once defined its Ultra phones. The Galaxy S26 Ultra features slightly more rounded corners than its predecessor. It’s not a drastic shift, but still something existing Ultra users would notice at once. Samsung has been slowly moving toward a rounder build for the Ultra to achieve a design consistency across its flagships.
One of the more visible changes is up front, Ice Universe reveals. Samsung is increasing the size of the front camera cutout to support a wider field of view. The focus here is clearly on group selfies and video content. The Galaxy S26 Ultra should fit more people in group selfies.
The screen size also nudges up from 6.86 inches to 6.89 inches. That 0.03-inch increase won’t be noticeable in daily use, but it likely helps accommodate the rounder corners without sacrificing usable display area. However, if you were expecting Samsung to make the screen bigger by trimming the bezels, you may be disappointed. “There is no difference in bezel width between the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy S25 Ultra,” the tipster says.
Put simply, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will look very familiar, but still have a slightly different vibe. If it sounds good enough to be your next phone, we have something more exciting for you.
