Galaxy A07 5G Goes Official in India With Six Years of Updates

After launching the Galaxy A07 5G in Thailand last month, Samsung is bringing the phone to India. As the name suggests, it replaces the Galaxy A06 5G as Samsung’s most affordable 5G option in the country. Sadly, as earlier rumors suggested, it comes with price hike.
Galaxy A07 5G has finally launched in India
The Galaxy A07 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of peak brightness. The higher refresh rate should make everyday scrolling feel noticeably smoother than on its predecessor. It packs MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can use microSD to expand the storage up to 1TB.

One of the phone’s biggest selling points is its 6,000mAh battery, which is larger than what Samsung offers on some of its premium devices. Combined with 25W wired charging, the Galaxy A07 5G should comfortably last a full day or more on a single charge.
Speaking of the cameras, it gets a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30fps, which is expected at this price point. Out of the box, it runs One UI 8 based on Android 16. Samsung is promising up to six years of Android OS and security updates. There’s also support for Samsung Wallet.
The Galaxy A07 5G is available in Light Violet, Light Green, and Black. In India, it starts at INR 15,999 for the base model with 4GB/128GB, while the 6GB/128GB variant costs INR 17,999. There are also bank offers that knock INR 1,000 off the final price.
