Every day, we’re inching closer to the Galaxy Unpacked 2026. Anyone hoping the Galaxy S26 series would break cover a bit earlier this time around is probably disappointed. In hindsight, though, that optimism was likely misplaced from the start.

Early rumors had already pointed to a slightly later Unpacked timeline, and more recent reports have only doubled down on that expectation. With Galaxy Unpacked 2026 now firmly on the horizon, the focus shifts from when Samsung will make its announcements to what it plans to show.

When will Samsung host Galaxy Unpacked 2026?

Samsung is all set to host the Galaxy Unpacked on February 25, 2026 (Wednesday) in San Francisco. That would mark Samsung’s return to the city after nearly three years. Still, a few questions remain, including what time the event will start. We’ll likely get those answers as we inch closer to the date.

Everything Samsung will likely announce at Galaxy Unpacked 2026

Now, we’ll move on to what you can expect at Galaxy Unpacked 2026, or better put, at February Unpacked. The Galaxy S26 series is the obvious highlight, but things may still get a bit complicated. So let’s break down everything we expect to see.

Pre-order the Galaxy S26 series through our Mystery Box program to receive a bundle of free gifts. Each box includes 65W GaN charger, USB-C wired earbuds, case, screen protector, desktop stand, cleaning kit, screen protector, and a few extra surprises. Shipping is on us (US only). Galaxy S26 series

The most obvious announcement, once again, is the Galaxy S series. That said, a few things are changing, or at least staying the same as last year. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra at February Unpacked event. If that holds true, there will be no Edge or Pro variants, despite earlier speculation.

Samsung is reportedly doubling down on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with mass production nearing six times that of the other models. While it’s still unclear whether it will be available for all models, but Privacy Display may be one of the Ultra’s headline features.

Some markets may see the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ ship with the Exynos 2600 chipset. In the US, however, Samsung is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 “for Galaxy” across the lineup. There likely won’t be a price hike, and the base model is said to start with 256GB of storage.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra may come in Black, White, Silver Shadow, Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, and Pink Gold color options. As for the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, they’ll be available in same four colors: Black, White, Sky Blue and Cobalt Violet, but keep an eye out for online-exclusives.

Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro

Guess how long it’s been since Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. It’s been a year and a half, and naturally, they’re due for a bold refresh. Thankfully, that’s exactly what the leaks suggest, with fresh renders pointing to Samsung giving the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro a visual overhaul.

The regular Galaxy Buds 4 ditch ear tips altogether, while the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro sensibly stick with silicone tips. At a glance, both models look similar, but the charging cases tell a different story. The Galaxy Buds 4 case adopts a two-tone look with a dark green exterior and black interior, while the Buds 4 Pro keep things clean in all white.

One UI 8.5

The last Galaxy S25 trio, announced on January 22, 2025, debuted One UI 7. The One UI 7 delay saga is a different story altogether, but that delay pushed Samsung to launch its 2025 foldables with One UI 8 out of the box. The Galaxy S26 series will follow suit, debuting with One UI 8.5 stable.

One UI 8.5 has been leaking heavily over the past few months, and we’ve covered those leaks in detail. You can catch up on the features you might have missed if you want the full picture. Once One UI 8.5 debuts on the Galaxy S26 lineup, updates should begin rolling out to other devices in the following weeks.

These are the strongest contenders Samsung is expected to announce at Galaxy Unpacked on February 25, 2026. There could still be one or two additional announcements, likely related to smart glasses, but there probably won’t be anything major beyond that. And no, the Galaxy Ring 2 isn’t coming in February.
