Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Series Arrives in South Korea

Samsung has officially launched its latest Galaxy Book 6 series in its home country, South Korea. The lineup includes the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Galaxy Book 6 Pro, bringing improved performance, cutting-edge AI features, and a more modern design. They will be available for purchase starting tomorrow (January 27) through various channels, including Samsung stores nationwide (both offline and online).

Samsung redefines the laptop experience with Galaxy Book 6 models

At CES 2026, Samsung introduced three next-generation laptops: the Galaxy Book 6, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra. The company will make these laptops available in the US in the spring. It has already opened a reservation program, offering a $30 credit on purchase (when the sale goes live). However, as of now, the firm has not launched the vanilla Galaxy Book 6 in South Korea.

As for prices, the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is the most premium model in the lineup. The price starts at 4.62 million won and goes up to 4.93 million won. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro is relatively affordable, with prices ranging from 2.6 million won to 3.51 million won. Of course, their price depends on specifications such as CPU, graphics, and memory.

The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is available in a single 16-inch size, while the Galaxy Book 6 Pro comes in 16-inch and 14-inch variants. The former offers only the gray color option, while the latter includes both gray and silver. Both models feature a slimmer design than their predecessors, with thicknesses of 15.4 mm and 11.9 mm, respectively. The displays offer up to 1,000 nits of HDR brightness, so you get vivid visuals in bright outdoor conditions.

The laptops offer powerful performance

The Galaxy Book 6 laptops use the Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 3, which offers solid power efficiency and performance. They also feature a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of up to 50 TOPS, allowing the laptops to run AI-based tasks smoothly. As for graphics, the Ultra offers either an Nvidia RTX 5070 or an RTX 5060, while the Pro comes with an Intel Arc GPU. You can check out our hands-on to learn more about the laptops.
