SammyGuru Podcast #52: CES 2026, Galaxy Z TriFold, S26 Ultra, Book 6 Laptops

CES 2026 just wrapped up, and to be honest, it was one heck of a show! You can jump to our CES 2026 section to see everything we saw and covered. Even better, we’ve now published episode #52 of the SammyGuru with Jeff Springer podcast.
In which, we dig into Samsung’s biggest CES reveals and try to separate the flashy booth demos from the stuff that might actually matter when you’re spending your own money. We also look ahead to Unpacked on February 25, because yes, rumor season never really sleeps.
SammyGuru Podcast #52 is now live, come listen to us talk baking hot stuff
We kick things off with highlights from Samsung’s CES booth and media sessions, including those massive Micro RGB TVs that look unreal in controlled lighting, along with a reality check on their real-world limits. Short version, your wallet may start sweating. Vision AI TVs and deeper SmartThings integrations also get some attention, since your TV now wants to run your house, whether you asked it to or not.
Then there are the fridges. Smarter fridges. With cameras. And Gemini. We talk about how well Samsung’s new food recognition actually works, and whether it’s finally useful or still mostly hype. I also share some hands-on thoughts on the Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra.
If you’d rather listen, I go into more detail on the pod, covering design tweaks, brighter displays, battery gains, and the trade-offs, including ports, questions around 360 models, and when ARM versions might actually show up. We also touch on Samsung’s new Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, and yeah, the Freestyle+ projector.
Then there’s the Galaxy Z Trifold buzz, which Samsung showed at CES 2026 but still hasn’t put dates on. After that, we get into the Galaxy S26 series, especially the Ultra. So come hang out with my man Torrey and me for episode #52 of the SammyGuru podcast.
