Galaxy S24 FE Picks Up January 2026 Security Update

Samsung has already updated several devices to the latest available security patch. Shortly after the Galaxy S24 series began receiving the January 2026 security update in its home market, the company is now adding the Galaxy S24 FE to the list as well.

Galaxy S24 FE January 2026 security update rolling out in Korea

Samsung is now rolling out the January 2026 security patch to the Galaxy S24 FE, but at the time of writing, it’s only available in Korea. In the coming days, Samsung will likely expand availability to more regions, likely starting with the US. The build version in question is S721NKSS9CZA1.

The January 2026 security update includes patches for more than 50 vulnerabilities across the Galaxy lineup. It fixes security issues in both Android itself and Samsung’s built-in apps and services. Some of the vulnerabilities are more serious than others. As usual, this update doesn’t bring any new features, but you shouldn’t delay installing it.

If you live in Korea and have a Galaxy S24 FE, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap Install now. Your device will restart and boot up with the latest security patch. As always, it’s recommended that you have enough battery before updating and that your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
