In recent years, AI has become a meaningful part of day-to-day life, and Samsung’s Galaxy phones have played a huge role in this revolution. However, many users still don’t realize just how often AI works behind the scenes to power the features they use daily. A recent survey has shared everyday AI tools and how unaware most people are of their presence.

Galaxy AI makes regular smartphone tasks easier

Samsung has taken the AI experience on phones to the next level with capabilities such as camera enhancements, battery optimization, real-time translation, photo and audio editing, and smart replies. These features make day-to-day tasks easier and more personalized. The company not only offers new AI features but also strives to deliver tangible benefits for Galaxy users.

Samsung says people who use mobile AI often report a better quality of life. This includes improvements in creativity, productivity, physical health, and social relationships. As a result, users are quickly adopting Galaxy AI. For example, cutting-edge AI features played a key role in the strong sales of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Today, Galaxy AI powers more than 400 million devices around the world.

However, many users still don’t realize the benefits they are already enjoying from an AI phone. Talker Research conducted a survey (for Samsung) of 2,000 adults that revealed that 90% of Americans use AI on their phones, but only 38% realize it. Moreover, 51% said they do not think they use AI. Interestingly, 84% said they use common AI-powered tools daily. These include weather alerts (42%), call screening (35%), autocorrect (34%), voice assistants (26%), and auto brightness (25%).

The survey also found that AI camera features are becoming popular. Around one in five smartphone users regularly use tools such as Night Mode (19%) and auto-generated slideshows (20%). Meanwhile, Samsung continues to improve the AI phone experience by listening to and learning from users. The company may introduce a new proactive AI feature on the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. The feature prevents booking events in chats if you already have a scheduled event on your Calendar at the same time.
