Galaxy A24 and Galaxy F54 Show Up With One UI 8.5 Test Builds

Samsung has begun One UI 8.5 testing for several Galaxy devices. The company is continuing internal works for more models as it prepares for the next stable release. The Galaxy A24 and Galaxy F54 have appeared with One UI 8.5 test builds, confirming that testing has started for these models.

Galaxy A24 and Galaxy F54 Enter One UI 8.5 Internal Testing Phase

After the Galaxy A25, Samsung has started One UI 8.5 testing for the Galaxy A24. The device has appeared on Samsung’s test servers in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and the UAE. The One UI 8.5 test build for the Galaxy A24 carries the build version A245FXXU9FZA1. Samsung is gradually expanding One UI 8.5 testing across its budget A series lineup. Models such as the Galaxy A06 4G, Galaxy A07 4G, Galaxy A15 4G, and a few others have already joined the testing phase.

The first One UI 8.5 build for the Galaxy F54 appeared on servers today. The device has appeared on the company’s servers in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The software carries the build version E546BXXU9FZA1. Its sibling device, the Galaxy M54, was the first M series model to appear with a One UI 8.5 build.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A24 and Galaxy F54 in 2023 with Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box. Both devices received One UI 8 a few months ago. Samsung promised four major Android OS updates for these models, meaning they should receive updates up to Android 17.

One UI 8.5 is expected to bring major UI refinements, visual improvements, and many new features. Compared to One UI 8, this update should feel more meaningful and polished.

The One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series is already live in multiple regions. For eligible devices, the stable rollout should begin a few weeks after the Galaxy S26 series launch.
