Alexa+ Is Coming to Samsung TVs Later This Month

In February last year, at Amazon’s Devices & Services event, the company announced Alexa+. It’s Amazon’s next-generation, AI-powered version of its Alexa voice assistant, and it brings several enhancements, including better contextual understanding, smarter task handling, and more.
Today, at the ongoing CES 2026, Amazon announced that Alexa+ will be available on Samsung TVs later this month. After that rollout, owners of these TVs will be able to speak to Alexa to find content faster or manage tasks around the house. This’ll mark the first time Amazon’s latest voice assistant is built directly into a non-Amazon device.
Which Samsung TVs will get Alexa+ support?
In the same announcement, Amazon clarified that “early access” to Alexa+ will be available on select 2021 to 2025 devices with Alexa built in. As you might know, that list includes a large number of Samsung TVs. Most of Samsung’s current and recent premium lineups, such as QLED, Neo QLED, OLED, and others, come with Alexa built in.

That means all eligible models released after 2021 will get early access to Alexa+. Once it’s up and running, you’ll be able to converse naturally with Alexa+ on your Samsung TV. As Amazon puts it, you can ask things in simple, conversational language. For example, you can say, “Alexa, it’s showtime. What’s new?” to surface fresh movies and series. Likewise, if you say, “Alexa, it feels too cold,” it can automatically adjust a connected thermostat.
Looking beyond TVs, Alexa+ is also coming to the Bosch 800 Series fully automatic espresso machine, the BMW iX3 with its Intelligent Personal Assistant, Oura rings, and more. If you’re attending CES, you can also stop by Amazon’s booth, where the company’s offering an early access experience.
