Samsung Launches Photography Contest for Galaxy Users in India

Samsung has announced a photography contest for its Galaxy S smartphone users. Dubbed India #withGalaxy, the contest aims to celebrate the diversity and beauty of India. It is open to Indian citizens aged 18 years or older, with entries accepted until midnight on January 25, 2026.

Samsung says that India lives in contrasts – languages, colours, cultures, emotions. But through the lens of a camera, every story can shine. India #withGalaxy brings these moments, capturing the diverse perspectives of the country through the Galaxy S Series.

If you want to participate in the contest, you need to submit photos taken (on or after February 1, 2025) on any Galaxy S Series smartphone. The contest offers four themes for photographers to choose from: Colors of India, Faces of India, Sights of India, and Spirit of India. Note that you can submit up to five original photos (AI-generated images are not allowed). Make sure you upload the photo in JPG or PNG format, with a maximum file size of 30MB per photo.

The official portal for submissions is www.indiawithgalaxy.com. Aside from uploading photos to the website, you also need to submit them to Instagram with designated #tags and mentions: #withGalaxy, #GalaxyS25Ultra and @samsungIndia. On the website, enter your details such as name, phone number, and email, then select your theme. Next, upload your photo, then enter your Instagram ID and the link to your Instagram post.

The contest will be judged by a panel of experts, led by Kabir Khan, an Indian film director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. The panel will include 29 professional photographers representing different regions of India. Samsung will reward Grand Winners (2) with INR 1,50,000 each, Category Winners (4) with INR 65,000 each, and Regional Winners (29) with INR 15,000 each.

To claim prizes, winners will be required to submit valid government ID and PAN card copies. Samsung will announce the winners in the second week of February 2026 on its India social media handles and on the contest portal.
