In recent years, Samsung has put a lot of effort into improving its healthcare technology. The company now plans to reveal a new Brain Health service at CES 2026, running from January 6 to 9. This service will help detect early signs of cognitive decline (including dementia) by analyzing day-to-day data collected through smartphones and wearable devices.

Samsung’s Brain Health service can detect early cognitive decline

According to a report from Chosun, Samsung will present its Brain Health at a special experience zone at CES 2026. Visitors will be able to experience how the system works based on the collected lifestyle patterns. The service collects data such as users’ voices, gait patterns, and sleep habits from mobile and wearables. By tracking these patterns over time, it can identify potential risks early and facilitate preventive care.

Brain Health will become part of Samsung’s broader healthcare ecosystem. The company already offers a host of health management services through its Samsung Health. The app connects with devices such as the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring to manage exercise, sleep, diet, and cardiovascular health.

The report says Samsung has already completed in-house development of Brain Health and is now running clinical validation. The company will also bundle tools with the service to help improve and maintain cognitive health. For example, the service will provide personalized recommendations, including customized brain training programs.

Since Brain Health bears sensitive personal health data, Samsung also focuses on strengthening security protections. Thanks to its Knox security platform, it manages data directly on the device instead of sending it to external cloud servers. “Brain Health is a service entering its final stage of development,” said a source familiar with Samsung. “Specific launch timing and applicable applications are under review, but we plan to put it at the forefront as we advance healthcare features.”
