Galaxy A35, Tab S10 Series, XCover 6 Pro Pick Up December 2025 Security Patch

Samsung has now expanded the December 2025 security patch rollout to more Galaxy devices. The Galaxy A35, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro are the latest models to receive the update. Earlier today, Samsung also released the December patch for the Galaxy S24 series in Korea and the Galaxy S25 series in India and Europe.

Samsung rolls out December 2025 security patch for more devices

The Galaxy A35 has started receiving the December 2025 update in South Korea. The update carries the build version A356NKSS6CYK1. The Galaxy Tab S10 series has also joined the list. The update is live in Korea and should reach more markets soon. The Tab S10+ Wi-Fi model has an update size of around 400 MB and comes with firmware version X820XXS5CYK1.

The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is also getting the December patch. The rollout has begun in regions like Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, and Singapore. It carries the build number G736BXXSAGYL1. The December 2025 security patch fixes 57 security vulnerabilities. They were identied by Samsung, Google, and their partners.

The Galaxy A35, Tab S10 series and Galaxy XCover 6 Pro should also get the One UI 8.5 update soon. One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 QPR2, and its stable debut is expected early next year at Galaxy Unpacked with the launch of the Galaxy S26 series. The One UI 8.5 beta is already live for the Galaxy S25 series in select regions. This allows users to try out the new features and improved UI before the stable release.

Samsung began pushing the December update last week with the Galaxy A34. Since then, it has expanded to several devices including the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and more models.

If your device is listed above but the update hasn’t reached your region yet, it should arrive soon. You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. After downloading, tap Install now to update your device.
