Samsung’s QD-OLED continues to power TVs and monitors from different companies. Philips recently launched its latest gaming monitor, the Evnia 27M2N6501L, with this cutting-edge display technology. This shows the Korean firm’s increasing influence in the premium display market.

The latest Philips monitor features a 27-inch (26.5″ / 67.3 cm) QD-OLED panel made by Samsung Display. QD-OLED technology combines OLED and quantum dot technologies. This panel offers high contrast, deep blacks, wide viewing angles, higher peak brightness, and more vibrant colours. With a Quad HD resolution of 2560 × 1440 and a 240 Hz refresh rate, the monitor delivers smooth and responsive gameplay.

One of the major concerns for users of QD-OLED screens is the risk of burn-in. To solve this, Philips has integrated a graphene cooling shield into the monitor. Philips has also integrated its AI-enhanced Ambiglow feature to create a truly immersive and customisable experience.
