One UI 8 Finally Rolls Out for These Two Budget Galaxy Models

Samsung has been pushing the November 2025 security patch at full speed. However, the One UI 8 rollout had noticeably slowed over the last two weeks. Today, out of nowhere, Samsung surprised everyone by releasing the One UI 8 update. It was for two budget Galaxy A series models, removing them from the very small list of devices still waiting.

The Galaxy A15 4G and Galaxy A24 are the latest devices to receive the Android 16 based One UI 8 update. The Galaxy A15 5G had already picked up the update back in early October. Now the 4G model joins the list as well. The update has started rolling out in Korea. It includes the November 2025 security patch and marks the second major OS upgrade for the device since it launched with Android 14. The build version for the device is A155NKSU6CYK1. Samsung promises OS updates up to Android 18 for the A15 4G. So, it still has a long way to go.

The Galaxy A24 is also receiving its One UI 8 update in Korea. It carries the build A245NKSU7EYK1. It also comes with the November 2025 security patch and brings the same new features and UI improvements. For the Galaxy A24, this is the second last major Android OS update. Samsung will support it up to Android 17.

One UI 8 brings multiple changes such as a refreshed Weather app, smoother animations, cleaner UI, new clock styles, improved split-screen options with a 90:10 layout, and better overall stability. If you own a Galaxy A15 4G or Galaxy A24, you can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Tap Install now once the download completes, and your phone will restart with the latest One UI 8.
