Galaxy Buds 4 Pro May Add Find Your Phone Button on The Case

Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-gen flagship wireless earbuds, including the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. A new leak now reveals that the Pro earbuds may come with a Find Your Phone feature that lets you make your phone ring by pressing a button on the charging case. If true, this small addition could be a welcome upgrade that takes the earbuds’ premium appeal to the next level.
Samsung may introduce the Find Your Phone feature with Galaxy Buds 4 Pro
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro will succeed last year’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. The new earbus will include a Find Your Phone function, revealed during an APK teardown by Android Authority. The code reads, “Pressing the case button makes your phone rings if it is connected to your phone.” The feature will likely depend on an active Bluetooth connection between the earbuds and the phone.
The outlet also managed to get an animation of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro charging case, revealing some interesting details. The case features a physical button on the right side of the USB-C port for the Find Your Phone function. On the left side, there appears to be a speaker grill, suggesting that the case may support sound output. While it’s unclear how this speaker will function, its presence suggests that Samsung could follow Apple’s AirPods case approach, which helps users locate them.
The graphic also shows that Samsung has redesigned the interior of the case. The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro now lie flat inside the case, instead of sitting vertically like the previous generation. An earlier report suggested that the charging case for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro will feature a typical battery capacity of around 530 mAh. For comparison, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro’s charging case features a 515 mAh capacity. Expect more details about the upcoming premium wireless earbuds in the coming months.
