As we get closer to the Galaxy S26 series launch, more details are starting to surface. One recent report claimed that Galaxy S26 lineup will be announced in the last week of February, which would push availability to March. There’s still uncertainty about which chipset they will use, with reports suggesting that Exynos 2600 will be in the mix.

Exynos 2600 leak reveals big camera and efficiency boost might be on the way

Speaking of which, a reliable tipster β has shared details that could hint at the potential of Exynos 2600 chipset. If accurate, the Exynos 2600’s ISP (Image Signal Processor) might handle cameras up to 320MP, or even support three 108MP sensors at once. That would be a big jump from the Exynos 2400.

The ISP may pack a new HDR engine that can combine five frames at once and process 14-bit RAW images. In simpler terms, it should help capture better detail and color accuracy in tough lighting conditions. For example, bright skies, dark shadows, or mixed indoor light. It may also manage up to four camera sensors simultaneously.

For video, the Exynos 2600 could record 8K videos at 60 frames per second with HDR10+, or 4K at up to 120 fps for slow-motion clips. The leak also points to a hybrid stabilization system that combines optical and AI-based motion prediction for steadier results.

Samsung reportedly worked on improving efficiency as well. The Exynos 2600’s ISP may draw around 30% less power than its predecessor while pushing up to 1.8TB/s of internal bandwidth. It could also handle AI-powered camera features such as scene detection, super-res zoom, and per-object tone mapping.

If these leaks are accurate, the Exynos 2600 could make a big leap in camera quality and efficiency. That will potentially be setting the stage for what we’ll see in next year’s Galaxy S26 lineup. Yet, it goes without saying that these should be taken with a pinch of salt.
