One UI 8 Update Rolling Out to Galaxy A06 4G, Galaxy Tab Active 5 in India

Samsung continues to expand the One UI 8 update to more devices and regions. Several Galaxy devices have already received the latest update, while others are still in line. Most recently, Samsung has rolled out the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A06 4G and Galaxy Tab Active 5 in India.

Your Galaxy A06 and Galaxy Tab Active 5 in India are now One UI 8 update ready

As spotted by Mohammed Khatri, Samsung is expanding the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy Tab Active 5 in India. At the same time, the update is also rolling out to the Galaxy A06 4G in India. The build versions in question are X306BXXU7CYJ3 and A065FXXU7CYJ8, respectively.

If you own either of these devices, you can install the latest update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap Install now and wait for the installation to complete. The process will take some time and will be followed by a restart. After which, your device will boot up running the latest firmware.

It’s likely that Samsung will roll out the next major One UI 8.5 update to these devices as well. A beta program may precede the stable launch alongside the Galaxy S26 series. However, Galaxy A06 4G and Tab Active 5 will be excluded from the beta program. So, the wait for the stable release could be a bit longer.
