The leaks surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series continue to surface. A fresh report now suggests that the company may use a new Exynos connectivity chip called Exynos S6568 in the flagship lineup. This may allow the firm to offer more secure, reliable, and efficient wireless connections.

Samsung is developing an Exynos connectivity chip

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) recently listed the Exynos S6568 connectivity chip with model S6568 on its website (via Diztel). The description reads, “The S6568 is to be used together with an compatible Exynos Application Processor to build a full BT + WiFi solution and Bluetooth 6.1.”

So, we can assume that the Exynos S6568 will work together with the upcoming Exynos 2600 mobile chip. This move looks similar to Apple’s approach with its N1 connectivity chip, a custom-designed solution that operates wireless connections on the iPhone 17 series.

Since the new Exynos connectivity chip supports the latest Bluetooth 6.1 standard, Exynos 2600-powered Galaxy S26 units may feature next-generation wireless capabilities. Announced in May 2025, Bluetooth 6.1 brings a bunch of improvements over previous versions. These mainly include increased device privacy and improved power efficiency.

Meanwhile, Samsung has reportedly begun mass production of its Exynos 2600 processor using its in-house 2nm process. The initial production volume is reportedly 15,000 wafers, around 30% of the total Galaxy S26 series output planned for next year. As a result, the Korean firm may make the Exynos 2600-powered Galaxy S26 models available only in certain markets.

Samsung may begin mass production of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ in January 2026. As for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, production may start in December 2025, per reports. As a result, the next-generation flagship series may debut bit later than usual.
