Google Discover Now Lets You Pick Your Favorite Creators and Publishers

The way we consume our daily dose of news and infotainment has changed over the years. Google Discover is one such platform that has evolved to bring together news, videos, and even social media posts in a single feed, making it easy to catch up on the topics that interest you.

Now, Google Discover is rolling out an update that lets you follow your favorite creators and publishers, and you know what that means. You can follow SammyGuru to catch all the cool content you care about, delivered straight to your Discover feed. At the same time, you can also set us as a preferred source on Google so that you land exactly on what you are searching for.

So, how do you follow your favorite creators or publishers on Google Discover? Take a look at the screenshot above. You will see a Follow button to the right of the name. Tap it, and you will start seeing more content from us. For now, there is no option to search for creators or outlets, so you will have to wait for your favorites or SammyGuru to appear in your feed.
Google says these changes are designed to give users more control over the content they see. Instead of endlessly scrolling through posts they might not care about, users can now focus on the creators and publishers they trust and enjoy. This update comes at a time when publishers are facing major drops in traffic due to changes in Google Search and the rise of AI-generated summaries across the web.
