Breaking! Samsung Rolls Out One UI 8 Beta 7 for Galaxy S25

Samsung has surprised Galaxy S25 users with yet another One UI 8 beta update. The new release marks the seventh beta build for the series, raising questions about whether this will be the last test version before the stable rollout. While the company maintains that the stable One UI 8 update will arrive in September, an exact release date has yet to be confirmed.
Galaxy S25 gets its seventh One UI 8 beta update
The Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are receiving One UI 8 Beta 7 in all supported markets, including India, Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US. The update arrives with the firmware build version ZYI3 and weighs just over 600MB for the Ultra model. As expected, Samsung has focused on ironing out bugs rather than introducing new features.
According to the official changelog, the update smooths out lock screen clock stutters and fixes the bug where the clock shifted down unexpectedly. It also resolves Bluetooth audio glitches, ensures Stretch Font applies properly, restores normal text thickness in the Nowbar, Status Bar, and PIN input, and prevents the quick run icon from disappearing on the Lock Screen.
There may be additional bug fixes and optimizations Samsung didn’t mention in the changelog. The update may also contain feature enhancements as the company gears up to release the stable One UI 8 build for the Galaxy S25 lineup, including the Edge (it doesn’t get beta).
Unfortunately, there’s still no word on when Samsung will roll out the final build. No one expected the Beta Program to stretch to seven releases, and this latest update is only adding to the anticipation—especially for users who aren’t part of the beta testing. Hopefully, the wait for the stable One UI 8 update won’t be much longer. We’ll keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.
