Samsung to Host Virtual Unpacked on September 4, Here’s What to Expect

It turns out the rumors were partly on the mark. Samsung has just confirmed that its next big virtual Unpacked event will take place on September 4 at 5:30 AM ET. You can tune in to the livestream to see what’s in store via Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com, or their YouTube channel. Of course, you’ll also catch all the updates live at SammyGuru.

Alongside the main event, Samsung is opening up reservations for its next Galaxy Tab. If you reserve the device before September 3 and make your purchase between September 4 and October 5, you’ll snag a free $50 Samsung credit. That’s essentially free money for early birds, and I’d bet this perk vanishes the moment the device(s) officially drop.
What to expect from Samsung on September 4 at virtual Unpacked
Samsung’s teaser for the upcoming Unpacked event hints at “the latest addition to the Galaxy ecosystem.” That, frankly, leaves us guessing what it could be. A tri-fold device? A Samsung XR device? Maybe smart glasses? Unfortunately, none of the reports suggest that any of these will make their debut on September 4.
What leaks and reports do suggest, however, is that Samsung will refresh the Galaxy Tab S lineup, which is also hinted at by the opening of reservations. This leads us to believe we will most likely see the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra during the show. Both of these devices were apparently leaked in all their glory earlier today, though nothing is official yet.
There have also been rumors that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 FE around the same timeframe. The exact date remains under wraps, but there is a chance we could see the Galaxy S25 FE make its debut that same week. Whatever happens, we’ll keep you in the loop.
