Galaxy Tab A11 LTE Passes Bluetooth SIG Certification As Launch Nears

Samsung is gearing up to launch several new tablets in the coming weeks. In addition to the expected Galaxy Tab S11 series refresh (along with the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite), the company is also preparing to unveil the Galaxy Tab A11 series. A new report confirms that the Galaxy Tab A11 has recently cleared the Bluetooth SIG certification database.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab A11 clears Bluetooth SIG certification
Folks over at The Tech Outlook spotted the Galaxy Tab A11 (LTE) in the Bluetooth SIG certification database, listed under the model number SM-X135G. If that tells us anything, it’s that the device is now inching closer to launch and is in the final stages of regulatory clearance.

The upcoming Galaxy Tab A11, along with its elder sibling, the Tab A11+, also surfaced in live images courtesy of Safety Korea. For what it’s worth, the photos don’t reveal much beyond a plain black finish, and there doesn’t appear to be any major design overhaul. What they do confirm, however, is that the launch is just around the corner.
Reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav revealed two weeks ago that Samsung may release the Galaxy Tab A11 series in India next month. If that’s the case, the new tablets should be arriving soon. They’ll succeed the Galaxy Tab A9 lineup, since Samsung skipped over the Galaxy Tab A10 series entirely.
Certification listings have also disclosed that the Galaxy Tab A11 will house a 5,100mAh battery, which translates to a rated capacity of 4,980mAh. This suggests no real upgrade in the battery department compared to its predecessor. Under the hood, it’s expected to pack the MediaTek Helio G99 processor… the same chip as last year’s model.
Pricing details are still under wraps, but we should learn more in the coming days. Stay tuned.
