Next One UI 8 Beta Could Bring Audio Eraser and Read Aloud Upgrades to Galaxy S25

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series could get another One UI 8 beta update before the stable rollout. A new build recently surfaced on official test servers, signaling that the company may release Beta 6 soon. And it appears this update won’t solely focus on bug fixes and stability improvements, but also introduce a couple of new AI features.

One UI 8 Beta 6 for the Galaxy S25 may contain new AI tools

X user @tarunvats33 claims that Samsung is testing two new AI-powered features as part of One UI 8 Beta 6 for the Galaxy S25 series. The newly spotted internal test build (ZYH9) reportedly adds AI Audio Eraser in Gallery and introduces Read Aloud support to Now Brief.

As the name suggests, Audio Eraser uses AI to remove unwanted noise from videos. Launched with One UI 7, the tool is available as part of the built-in video editor on supported Galaxy devices. However, on foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, which run One UI 8 out of the box, Samsung baked the feature into Gallery. It lets users remove unwanted background noise from videos with a single tap, making edits quicker and more effortless. This enhancement may arrive on the Galaxy S25 series with Beta 6.

Now Brief, Samsung’s intelligent assistant backed by Personal Data Intelligence, also debuted with One UI 7 before Samsung introduced an upgraded version with the new foldables. The feature gained the ability to read summaries aloud, which is now on its way to the Galaxy S25. Since Samsung has confirmed a September release of the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series, beta 6 could arrive within the next couple of weeks. We will let you know when we have more information.
