Pixel 10 Series, Pixel Watch 4, Pixel Buds 2a Now Official

Today is August 20, which means Google has officially launched the Pixel 10 lineup. The new series includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google also introduced new wearables, such as the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a, along with a lot of AI noise. Quite literally.

Google announces Pixel 10 series at Made by Google event

After weeks of teasers and countless leaks, Google’s latest lineup has finally arrived. You might be wondering what we are getting this time. Essentially, there are four models. All of them are now available for pre-order, but the release dates vary significantly. Keep reading to find out everything that was announced today.

Pixel 10 series

All four Pixel 10 phones now support magnetic Qi2 wireless charging, allowing you to easily attach compatible chargers, mounts, and accessories. Charging speeds vary, however. The Pixel 10 Pro XL supports 25W wireless charging, while the other models settle for 15W.

The new Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold all come with the Tensor G5 chipset. Google claims it is over 34% faster than last year’s chip, though how that translates to real-world usage remains to be seen.

Pixel 10 series specs

The Pixel 10 is priced at $799, with shipping scheduled for August 28. Similarly, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are priced at $999 and $1,199 respectively, and share the same shipping date. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes in at $1,799, but it won’t ship until October 9. That’s quite a long wait.

Pixel Watch 4

The new Pixel Watch 4 comes in 41mm for $349 and 45mm for $399. You can now replace the battery and screen yourself with parts from iFixit. The watch has a domed display that is brighter than before and a more efficient processor that extends battery life.

Charging is faster with 50 percent in 15 minutes. You can raise your wrist to talk to Gemini, Google’s voice assistant, without pressing a button.

Pixel Buds 2a

These are Google’s smallest and lightest earbuds yet. They have a twist-to-adjust stabilizer to stay secure, active noise cancellation, and IP54 water resistance. The Tensor A1 chip powers seven hours of playback with ANC on and 20 hours with the charging case.

The case is now repairable for the battery for the first time. The earbuds support Bluetooth multipoint so you can switch between devices easily. You can also locate them with the Find Hub app.
