Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 “UNFOLDERS” Zone Draws Over 100,000 Visitors in Two Weeks

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are selling better than expected, which is something we’ve been hearing a lot. Now the company has shared that their Galaxy UNFOLDERS experience at COEX in Seoul pulled in over 100,000 people in just over two weeks. Since it opened on July 25, fans have been stopping by to try out the new foldables for themselves.
Most of the crowd coming to Galaxy UNFOLDERS are young fans!
By August 8, Samsung reported that about 103,000 people had visited the Galaxy UNFOLDERS zone at COEX, averaging roughly 7,000 visitors per day. The space has been especially popular with younger crowds. Over 75 percent of visitors are between their teens and 30s, with people in their 20s making up the largest group at more than 30 percent. Women accounted for 53 percent of visitors, showing broad interest across genders.

What sets the Galaxy UNFOLDERS zone apart is its focus beyond just product demos. Samsung worked with French artist Jean Jullien to design an environment that captures youth culture and trends in Korea. Jullien’s playful characters are featured throughout the space and on branded items like eco-bags and notebooks.
One of the most popular attractions is the “New Face Selfie” program. It lets visitors take selfies using the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s cover screen with Jullien’s characters overlaid on their faces. The feature quickly became a social media hit, with thousands of Gen Z users sharing posts.
Another draw is the Galaxy AI-powered generative editing tool. Visitors can create their own characters on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and project them onto a large media wall. This adds an interactive and creative element to the visit.
The experience zone stays open until August 17. Samsung Korea’s Vice President Jang So-yeon thanked visitors for the enthusiastic response and invited more people to check out the foldables and AI features before the event closes.
