A few days ago, Samsung announced that it will launch One UI 8 beta programs for the Galaxy S24 series, Fold 6, and Flip 6 next week. We speculated the update to hit these devices on Monday, August 11, at least in some regions. It looks like the company will release the first beta build in all supported markets on the same day.

Samsung gears up for One UI 8 beta launch for more devices on August 11

So far, Samsung has rolled out four One UI 8 beta builds for the Galaxy S25 series. It now plans to launch beta programs for a bunch of other devices, including a few mid-range models. While the original announcement said this expansion would begin next week, it stopped short of an exact release date.

In an official Newsroom post, Samsung US revealed that the second wave of One UI 8 beta would kick off on the week of August 11. Samsung India has now quoted the same date. This likely means a simultaneous rollout across all four supported markets, which also include South Korea and the UK. Samsung has dropped Germany and Poland from its beta expansion plans.

It’s worth noting that the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 might not all receive the One UI 8 beta on the same day. Samsung could stagger the rollout, starting with either the S series flagships or the foldables, before updating the other devices a few days later. Either way, it won’t be long before the picture becomes clearer.

Samsung is already planning the stable release of One UI 8 starting in September. The Galaxy S25 series will lead the charge, with other devices receiving the update in stages. For now, August 11 will be a key date for many Galaxy users in India, offering an early hands-on with Samsung’s latest AI innovations before they officially roll out later this year.
