Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 7 series rack up 210K pre-orders in just two days in India

In just two days since pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE opened on July 9, Samsung received over 2,10,000 bookings in India. That’s a strong early response, especially for foldable phones, which are still a growing category. These pre-orders will also start shipping on July 22.

The numbers show that more people in India are now open to trying foldables, and that Samsung’s bet on offering multiple models at different price points is working. The Flip 7 FE is the most affordable of the three and likely played a big role in pushing the overall pre-order figures up. By making foldables more accessible, Samsung may be helping move the category from niche to mainstream.

All three phones are being made locally, and Samsung is targeting younger customers who want the latest tech and don’t mind trying new form factors.
