Samsung Updates Galaxy Buds Manager Apps with Sleek One UI 8 Design

Samsung is rolling out visual upgrades to its Galaxy Buds companion apps as part of the One UI 8 transition. The South Korean tech giant has released new updates for the Galaxy Buds 2 Manager and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Manager apps, bringing a redesigned user interface that aligns with the refreshed aesthetic of One UI 8. The updates are rolling out to users via the Galaxy Store.
New Galaxy Buds Manager updates bring a cleaner look with better info
The most noticeable change is in the Galaxy Wearable app’s control interface for these earbuds. The updated design introduces monochrome icons, replacing the previously colorful ones. This shift gives the UI a cleaner, more professional appearance while blending better with One UI 8’s system-wide design. Samsung has also added more granular battery indicators, similar to those seen in the new One UI 8 Battery widget. You get color-coded indicators that let you easily see individual charge levels for the earbuds and case.
Additionally, Samsung has reorganized the Earbuds settings menu. In fact, there’s no separate settings menu, with all settings and controls now available on the main page. You don’t need to dig deeper to adjust your earbud settings. You can also access these options directly from Bluetooth settings, allowing for a more seamless experience. This update goes a long way in enhancing your everyday Galaxy Buds usage. Last but not least, we can see some new things in the Tips section.
All of these changes are available with Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Manager version 8.0.25061651. You can grab the latest version through the Galaxy Store (go to Menu > Updates). Currently, this new design is available exclusively for devices running One UI 8. Samsung hasn’t confirmed if or when it will bring the same updates to devices still on One UI 7. The company should soon roll out the new interface to other Galaxy earbuds as well.
