Galaxy Buds Core Support Pages Go Live in Multiple Countries

The word on the street is that Samsung won’t launch the Galaxy Buds FE 2 and instead debut the Galaxy Buds Core. Naturally, these earbuds could be the spiritual successor to the Galaxy Buds FE. We saw the changes through an FCC filing and India’s BIS certification last month. Now, the support pages for the Galaxy Buds Core have also gone live.

Galaxy Buds Core support pages are now live in India, UAE, Russia and Turkey

First spotted by Xpertpick, the Galaxy Buds Core (SM-R410) support pages are now live in India, the UAE, Russia, and Turkey. The SM-R410 model number was earlier confirmed via the FCC and BIS. This further supports that these could indeed be the Galaxy Buds Core.

The SM-R410, likely to be called Galaxy Buds Core, follows the SM-R400 (Galaxy Buds FE) in Samsung’s lineup. That suggests it could be the next version or a replacement for the Buds FE. Samsung originally unveiled the Galaxy Buds FE in October 2023. So, these are definitely due for an upgrade, and the Galaxy Buds Core could be just that.

Battery certification details for the Galaxy Buds Core have also surfaced. According to which, the Galaxy Buds Core will feature a 200mAh battery for the earbuds and a 500mAh battery for the charging case. That likely means each earbud has a 100mAh battery, a big step up from the 60mAh found in the original Galaxy Buds FE. The case also gets a slight bump from 479mAh to 500mAh.

For comparison, the Buds FE offer up to 6 hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on, or 8.5 hours with it off. With the case, that extends to 21 hours with ANC or 30 hours without. If Samsung keeps the same or a better chipset in the Buds Core, we could expect even longer battery life.
