Another day, another Samsung smartphone gets One UI 7. In fact, the update has just been released for two more mid-range devices. Galaxy A25 and A73 grab Samsung’s One UI 7 stable update
Samsung had a rocky start to its One UI 7 stable rollout, having to pull the update just days after its release due to bugs. However, the company hasn’t looked back since resuming the update in mid-April. It has been delivering One UI 7 to eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets at a rapid pace, one that exceeds expectations.
Over the past month, Samsung has updated all eligible flagship devices, including foldables and tablets, to the new version. It has also pushed One UI 7 to a bunch of budget and mid-range devices, some of which were supposed to receive the update in June as per Samsung’s own roadmap. The Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A73 are among the devices receiving One UI 7 ahead of schedule.
While the former is currently picking up the update in South Korea, the latter is getting it in other Asian markets. The new firmware build numbers for the duo are A256NKSU5CYE2 and A736BXXUAFYE6, respectively. The OTA (over the air) package weighs about 3.5GB for the Galaxy A25 and 3.6GB for the Galaxy A73. The May 2025 security patch is part of the package for both devices.
More importantly, this update introduces a visual refresh and new features to the mid-range duo. Samsung has redesigned app icons, improved system animations for smoother navigation, and made other UI changes. You also get camera upgrades, enhanced security, and many additional features. To check for updates on your Galaxy phone, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
