Google Launches AI Ultra Plan in the US for $249.99 per Month

Wake up, honey, a new Google AI subscription plan just dropped! At the I/O keynote earlier today, Google announced a new AI subscription plan that gives access to the company’s most advanced models. Google’s new plan, called AI Ultra, costs a whopping $249.99 per month.

Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, it’s aimed at serious power users. And yes, it’s packed with just about every AI feature Google has under the hood. Google’s AI Ultra includes Gemini 2.5 Pro with Deep Think, a new mode built to handle complex tasks like coding and advanced math. You also get early access to Gemini in Chrome, so the AI can help you directly in your browser with things like summaries, writing, and task automation.

There’s a strong focus on creative tools. Subscribers can use Veo 3, Google’s latest video generation model, and Flow, a new AI-powered video editing app. For visual projects, Whisk lets you create and remix images using other images as prompts.
One of the biggest features is Project Mariner, an experimental tool that acts more like an AI assistant. It can handle up to ten tasks at once — like searching for information, booking travel, or buying items online. The plan also includes 30TB of storage across Gmail, Google Drive, and Photos, plus a free YouTube Premium subscription.
As Artem Russakovskii shares on X, Google’s new AI Ultra plan replaces the old 30TB storage tier but raises the price from $150 to $250 per month. The 20TB tier, previously priced at $100 per month, appears to have been removed entirely. That means after the 10TB tier at $50 per month, the next available jump is directly to 30TB for an extra $200.
Right now, it’s only available in the US. Though Google says ore countries are coming soon. First-time subscribers can also get a discount, such as it will cost $124.99 per month for first three months.
