Samsung recently rolled out an update for its QuickStar app, introducing version 8.1.02.24. The latest update addresses clock position bugs and improves app stability. The new version should be available to eligible Galaxy users globally over the next few days.

QuickStar is a Good Lock module for Galaxy devices that offers a host of customization options for the quick settings panel. You can change colors to match your wallpaper or create a vibrant theme. With each new update, Samsung aims to improve the functionality of this useful module for a seamless user experience.

As per the official release notes, the latest QuickStar update fixes an issue where the clock position was forcibly set to the middle on models that do not support a middle option. If you have been experiencing this annoying clock position bug, the new version should resolve the issue. Additionally, the release notes mention that the app gets stability improvements, which should mean a smoother performance when customizing your quick settings layout.

To update the app, you need to first go to the Galaxy Store and tap on the Menu icon. Now, tap on Updates to check if the latest version of the app is showing up. If available, you can hit the update icon next to the module for download. Alternatively, you can either search the app on the Galaxy Store or visit this direct link on your device.
