First real-life image of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 leaks in all its glory

Shared by Alchemist Leaks on Telegram, the alleged Galaxy Z Fold 7 is shown off from the back. In line with earlier rumors, the upcoming foldable does appear taller. It also features rounded corners, similar to what we see across the Galaxy S25 line. The camera module layout closely resembles that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. But there’s one noticeable change, the LED flash has been repositioned closer to the center of the camera bump.

The leaked color variant also mirrors the signature shade of the S25 Ultra. From the leaked image, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 seems to offer a wider cover screen and more usable real estate. Rumors suggest that Samsung is increasing the cover screen size from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and this leak seems to support that.

Based on earlier leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 measures 158.4 x 143.1 x 3.9 mm, and is 8.9 mm thick when folded. When unfolded, it reportedly measures a sleek 3.9 mm in thickness. Samsung seems to be prioritizing slimness this year, which is also evident with the Galaxy S25 Edge.

Both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 could ship running Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. The Fold 7 looks sure to pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. As for the Flip 7, there is still some uncertainty. Some sources suggest Samsung may opt for the Exynos 2500 to keep costs down. We’ll know for sure once the devices are officially unveiled.
