Samsung wants to showcase to the world how its premium flagship Galaxy S model, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, performs in gaming. Last month, the Korean firm held the Samsung Galaxy Gear Up Cup competition at the LVL UP Expo in Las Vegas. In this competition, the Galaxy S25 Ultra took center stage as Call of Duty pros went head-to-head using the device.

The competition started on April 11, with the semifinals and finals taking place on April 25. Speaking of the prize money in the Samsung Galaxy Gear Up Cup, the company offered $100,000 to the winning team. Professional Call of Duty Mobile gamers trained some of the best Call of Duty PC and console players to battle it out on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Samsung livestreamed the entire competition on its Twitch channel and later restreamed by legendary gamers, Agent00, Dokibird, HutchMF, Summit1G, and Symfuhny, as well as the RDCGaming and Erena Twitch channels.
To make the competition more interesting, Samsung gave viewers the chance to win Call of Duty Mobile points, which they could later redeem for in-game skins and items. On top of that, for on-site fans, the company gave a chance to upgrade their gaming setup with a Samsung Odyssey OLED G81SF Monitor or a Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Nebula Knights team won the tournament and took home $100,000 with bragging rights. Captain Space led the team, along with gamers Lucky Chaumu, IceManIsaac, Rated, and Primroze. The Momentum team came in second place, with gamers Captain Jezz, Aydan, Huskerrs, Santana, and Noemi. Apart from the team competitions, Samsung also held a Captain vs. Captain battle where Jezz defeated Space.
