After months of anticipation, the Galaxy S25 Edge is finally here. Samsung launched it today during a virtual Unpacked event, adding it as the fourth member of the Galaxy S25 family. It comes with a sleek design that’s sure to impress. You can check out early hands-on and first impressions.
Galaxy S25 Edge is finally here, and it measures just 5.8mm in thickness
The rumors were right about the 5.8mm thickness. The Galaxy S25 Edge definitely has a super sleek design for a slab phone. You can see just how slim it really is when placed next to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is 8.2mm thick. Even with that, the Galaxy S25 Edge manages to outshine its older sibling in some ways. And it does so quite impressively.
Despite weighing just 163g, it features a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, the Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with the new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for added durability.
The Galaxy S25 Edge comes in two storage options: 256GB/12GB and 512GB/12GB. There’s no 1TB storage variant available. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, just like the rest of the lineup. Under the hood, it packs a 3,900mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, with Samsung claiming it can charge up to 55% in around 30 minutes. It runs Android 15 with One UI 7 on top.
As for the cameras, you get a dual-camera setup on the back, featuring a 200MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it has the same 12MP camera seen across the rest of the lineup. As always, you’ll find Galaxy AI features, including Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist.
Pre-orders are open starting today, and you can take advantage of some great offers, including a free storage upgrade, a $50 store credit, and a MYSTERY BOX with your pre-order. Plus, you can benefit from limited-time enhanced trade-in deals. It will be available in retail by the end of the month.
