Samsung has now rolled out the One UI 7 stable update to all its flagship phones. Each day, the update is reaching more regions. Now that the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z lines appear to be done receiving the One UI 7 update, the Galaxy A series is next in line. Some Galaxy A models have already started receiving the stable update, which is good news for key regions. Helpfully, @KeepUPwithOneUI speculates a release schedule for several Galaxy A series devices.
One UI 7 stable could land on Galaxy A series next week
According to update tracker @KeepUPwithOneUI, Samsung will begin rolling out the One UI 7 update globally starting May 12. During the week of May 12, we can expect the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 to receive the update. In the following week, starting May 19, the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 are likely to get it. Similarly, the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53 could receive the One UI 7 stable update between May 26 and May 31.
Samsung began rolling out the One UI 7 stable update for the Galaxy A55 yesterday in South Korea. Shortly after, the Galaxy A35 also received the stable update in the company’s home country. This pattern suggests the global rollout may begin as early as next week. So, starting Monday, it’s worth checking your phone for a new update.
Earlier reports indicated that Samsung might continue the One UI 7 rollout through July. However, it now seems the company may finish much sooner than expected. With all major flagship models already updated, it likely won’t take long for Samsung to bring the update to other devices. And what a time to be alive. One UI 8 beta might even begin before the One UI 7 rollout is fully complete.
